There’s nothing I like more than getting a package… in the mail.
I was given some money for my birthday and was explicitly told to not be responsible with it. (i.e. buy yourself something nice!). This is the opposite of what I normally do with “free” money, so I was told I would have to provide photos. :p
So, I ended up buying a handbag and two pairs of shoes… with money leftover! They’re from a website where everything is $40. It’s like a shoe of the month club, except you can shop at any time, and you don’t HAVE to buy their monthly selection (though you need to opt out or you still get charged, but can cancel at any time).
When you first sign up, you get $20 off (you have to use it in the first 24hrs). They also have this big sale on right now, buy one get one. So one of the pairs of shoes was actually free! (which is a good thing since they’re a little too high for me and I will likely not wear them often). They also ship from a Canadian warehouse they just opened, so no duties! (ha ha, doody…)
The purchases outlined below cost me less than $70. Not even Winner’s would get me this much.
