Oh! So Pathos...

Finished my mother’s Christmas gift just in time. Great pattern, less than fun yarn to work with. Glad it’s finished!

Finally finished the shawl!

It’s really quite beautiful. The yarn was wonderful to work with and I really like the colour.

However, I know I won’t likely ever wear it. I was going for chunky and I should have stuck with it. :P

It would be nice if I could sell this, as the yarn was not inexpensive. I looked at Etsy, and not only do they ask a service fee but they take a percentage of the profits if you sell it. Kind of shady. Sooo. I don’t know. Guess I’ll end up holding on to it and see if I can’t gift it to someone.

I’ve been waiting all day to come home and take pictures of my latest finished project. Finished this baby blanket last night. It will be on its way to its new owner on Saturday.

Really, really loved working with the Knit Picks Comfy Sport. It’s incredible soft, easy to work with, and has a nice, heavy drape.

This pattern is also fantastic! Quite simple if you have even a bit of experience under your belt and the colour combinations could be endless. This one was made for some toddler cousins, but after working with this, I really want to make a large one to use as a bedspread.

Inspired by this, I made my own! :)

The frame isn’t as fancy, but it’s one of the most useful things I’ve made. This one was a gift for my cousin, but I’ll post pics soon of the one in my own bedroom.

A few tweaks were made on the later version… The edgings will sag with time and weight, but I’ve only stapled them on so they can be stretched and adjusted later.

Another set of barefoot sandals. Love the pop of sharp colours.

I’m just not sure about this hat. It was super easy to make and looked great in the magazine …. but somehow it just doesn’t do anything for me!

I’m not a hat person as a rule so I took a long shot and I don’t think it paid off.

Bibs… Animal Bibs… Alien Bib… Awesome! :P

Quick and easy (even with all the sewing)

Finally got over my laziness long enough to add a lining to this bag I’ve had sitting around for a while ;)

Easy and so cute I just wanna make a gajillion and fill a room with them.

Free People has these awesome things they’re calling foot ties. I am flabbergasted at how much they are selling them for.

So I said “fuck that” and made my own! From looking at the image, I created my version of the pattern. I’m pretty psyched at how they turned out and am looking forward to wearing them this summer.

Would love to share the pattern but I’m not sure whether this falls under the whole “this is a knock-off and we’re going to arrest you” thing.

(I do, however, apologize for having to share my icky feet with you.)
